Position Description: 

GBRI BUSINESS SOLUTIONS LTD is a grower, processor, packer of fresh vegetables and fruits for both local and international markets. The company operates in Southern Highlands regions of Tanzania in Iringa region. GBRI is seeking a highly qualified Sales Reps to join our team in sales department. The purpose of this role is to generate customers leads and meeting sales goals. In order to be successful in this role, applicant is required to demonstrate a deep understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and also superb interpersonal skills.  Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

       Serves customers by selling fresh vegetables and fruits products and meeting customer needs.

       Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily preselling work by calling on existing or potential retail vendors.

       Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.

       Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of retail vendors.

       Submits orders for fulfilment and deliver to customers.

       Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily sales reports, weekly work and monthly plans.

       Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.

       Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

       Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

       Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops/training, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

       Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

       Reporting to Area Sales Manager.

       Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualification:

   Certificate/Diploma/Degree in sales and marketing, agribusiness and or related field.

Experience:

   Previous experience in a sales role will be an added advantage.

Skills/Knowledge Requirement: 

       Customer service and client relationship builder.

       Meeting sales goals

       Sales objection handling and closing skills

       Prospecting and negotiation skills

       Self-motivated, team player and self-confidence      Product knowledge and sales presentation skills     Open and honest. 

       Computer literacy, sales report writing, fluent in both English and Swahili.
